Media focused on the use of the hoodie by a Black child to justify this tragic death. This type of imagery and wording continues the practice of dehumanization of Black children, and multinational corporations are still complicit in this. Using H&amp;M as an example, Christian Pierce from the CCDI shows how, in the decade after Trayvon\u2019s death, businesses still use this toxic imagery to perpetuate these racist stereotypes.
